When:

November 11th, 2017,10:45 A.M.

Where:

The parade begins at the corner of Lincoln Way and Cleveland Street.  The parade will pause at the Central Square at 11:00 A.M..  There will be a brief patriotic ritual with the release of doves, followed by a fly-over, a three volley rifle salute followed by TAPS.  The parade will resume onto High Street and end at the Gold Country Fairgrounds.

More Info:

The first 500 veterans will be awarded a commemorative medal honoring all veterans who have defended our country every day since the Battles of Lexington and Concord in 1775.

American flags and programs listing of the units in the parade will be distributed to spectators along the parade route.There will be rides provided to veterans who wish to be in the parade but cannot walk that distance.   Contact: Parade Director Roberta McGuinn (Tel: 916-743-4343, FAX: 530-823-9915)

Lunch:

There will be a complementary luncheon with hotdogs, chips, cookies, soft drinks and it will be served at the Maurine Dobbas Placer Hall. All participants and spectators are invited to attend.

"Proud to be an American" Celebration:

This special celebration and ceremony will be held following the luncheon.  There will be music, singing and exhibitions.
