An Auburn community event since 1918.
Parade Theme: "Honoring All Honor Guardsl"
and we are pleased to announce that this year's Grand Marshalls are
Terry Crouson, Commander Auburn Area Honor Guard
and Gene Freeland CoFounder Auburn Area Honor Guard
The Parade will begin at 10:50am at the corner of Lincoln Way and Cleveland Ave. and will proceed down Lincoln Way. The parade will pause at the Central Square at 11:00am. There will be a brief patriotic ceremony with the release of doves, followed by a fly-over (weather permitting), a three volley rifle salute followed by TAPS. The parade will resume on High Street and end at the Gold Country Fairgrounds.
The first 500 veterans will be awarded a commemorative medal (you must be present to collect your medal) honoring all veterans who have defended our country every day since the Battles of Lexington and Concord in 1775. American flags and programs, listing the units in the parade will be distributed to spectators along the parade route.
There will be rides provided to veterans who wish to be in the parade but cannot walk that distance. For more information contact: Parade Director Paula Celick

A Complimentary Luncheon will be served to Veterans, all others we ask for a small donation, at the end of the parade route at the Armory Hall. All participants and spectators are invited to attend.
The "Proud To Be An American" celebration and ceremony will be held following the luncheon. There will be music, singing and exhibitions.
